HISTORY
Miicor
Consulting was founded in 1987 as a result of the need in Idaho
for custom programming services for IBM AS/400 customers. Richard Miiller (now
retired from Miicor Consulting) began Miicor with his son Dick (current
president & CEO) shortly after Richard retired from IBM with over 20
years of service with customers in Idaho.
Miicor quickly became known in
Idaho as the professional services partner when it involved the IBM
AS/400 (or iSeries or IBM System i as it is called today). Due to the excellence
in solutions and service, many customers looked to Miicor to provide solutions
in other areas such as networking solutions. Recognizing the scarce technical
resources that existed in Idaho, Miicor expanded its offerings through training
and the recruitment of specialists.
In a few short years, Miicor became
established as a premier networking partner throughout Idaho and opened its
second office in Pocatello. Miicor became recognized by vendor partners for our
expertise and customer relations, resulting in premier partnership status.
But our customers demanded more!
They wanted Miicor to provide the final major component of their IT needs –
Business Solutions. Miicor needed to become a partner in assessing the business
process needs and deploying the appropriate software solutions. So once again,
Miicor expanded its offerings and its resources. And to meet growing state-wide
demand, Miicor developed a presence in the Idaho Falls area.
Today, Miicor provides an excellent
balance of these services through a passionate team of professional service
consultants and technicians. We live by the following mission statement:
